I arrived on Tuesday and went straight to Glacier National Park in my little rental car. I was amazed at the beauty I saw throughout the park! The entire Going to the Sun Road wasn't open, but I got about 3 miles from the top before it was closed off due to snow. It was absolutely amazing. I have never seen anything so awesome. On the way back down, I stopped off at Avalanche and decided to do a four mile hike. It was a two mile hike to the "treasure" at the end, but it was already about 5 p.m before I started. I knew it would take about 1.5 hours to do the whole thing and it's not recommended that you hike alone. So about a mile up, I figured I should probably turn around so I wouldn't be alone. These three women came up as I was going down and asked why I wasn't finishing. I told them I was a little nervous about being alone and they invited me to finish it with them. They were probably in their 50s, but one was from Minnesota and they were nice so I decided to finish. It was so worth it! This is what we saw after the first two miles:
Um hello gorgeousness!
The past few days were spent in a customers office. I was commenting that I wish I had more time so I could do some more exploring, and the owner said I should just take tomorrow morning to do something instead of going into the office. He recommended Whitefish to go zip lining so I'm going to do that in the morning before heading to the airport.
I'm so glad I got the opportunity to come out here. I will definitely be back for a vacation with Tall Guy soon!

A little late on reading this, but I wanted to say I have been obsessed with Montana since I was younger for some reason- and I have still never been. Your pictures make me really want to!
