Wedding Pictures, Round 3- Bridal Party Shots.

After our first look, we headed up to the 5th floor to get the rest of the gang and start group pictures. We started at the Graves in the same area where we had our first look.

Then we headed outside to take some pictures downtown and at the First Ave wall of stars before heading to Target Field. We had an engagement picture taken at this wall so it was fitting that we had some taken here in our full wedding garb as well.

When we got to Target Field, we first went to the Metropolitan Club to check out how things were progressing so far and to take a little break from the chilly wind. The first thing I noticed was that they were setting up the tables wrong. We had wanted long tables of 12 with 6 people on each side, but they were setting them up as more squat rectangles with 4 on a side and then 2 people per end. Some of the tables already had silverware on them but I made them rearrange the tables. It wouldn't have been a big deal in the long run, but our centerpieces were created with the long rectangular table plan. Plus, we spent way too much money there to not have the room set up how we wanted. Our day-of-coordinator would have caught this for sure, but she had been setting up for the ceremony up to that point so she hadn't seen the room yet. I'm just glad it was caught before everything was set!

So, after that little hiccup, we headed outside again to take pictures around the stadium. We started by standing in the bleachers and getting shots of the field behind us. Then we went down to the dugouts for some fun group shots and then headed onto the field for some more fun. It was a nice day out, but the breeze definitely had all of the ladies shivering a little. I had given the girls all gray pashminas so they had them on for quite a few of the pictures.  But, everyone was a good sport and didn't complain much.

The shots of us in the stands with the bridal party scattered around us are a few of my favorites. I love the one where everyone has a grossed out look on their face because we're kissing and my one bridesmaid has her bouquet covering her face so she doesn't have to look!

Once we were all sufficiently chilled, we headed inside to the Champion's Club to take some individual pictures with our bridesmaids and groomsmen and family pictures. I'll admit that I really dislike the standard, posed pictures. They are boring to me and I just didn't want to spend a ton of time on them. So I got one picture with each of my bridesmaids, a few with me and my sisters and one of each of the different families (my mom and dad are divorced) and I was good to go. Tall Guy and I basically stood in the same spot and smiled while everyone else posed around us. It was the easiest and took the least amount of time.

Before we knew it, it was 4:00 and we had our first guests show up even though the ceremony didn't start until 5:00. We figured we should get out of there so we weren't in the room while guests arrived so we went into our hideout with our entire bridal party, our parents and the officiant. I was getting a little nervous at this point because I knew that soon we'd be walking down the aisle. It was the longest 45 minutes of my life. Thankfully, a few of the groomsmen had flasks in their suit coats so I took a little shot to calm my nerves and warm my belly before taking the plunge!

Up next: Down the Aisle we go!
