Tall Guy and I stopped for a picture in front of section 116 (our wedding date was 11/6 and we thought we could maybe use the picture for our Thank You card, but it didn't happen). Our entire posse walked behind us as we made our way and I was starting to get butterflies in my stomach. Tall Guy had to leave me to walk the parents down the aisle and get ready for my entrance.
The bridal party walked in to a piano version of Lady Gaga's Bad Romance as a nod to our love for Lady G. It was a hit!
My dad and I walked in to Chantal Krevaziuk's Feels Like Home, which you would recognize from How to Lost a Guy in 10 Days.
The ceremony was so emotional and personal and I loved every second of it. The room was so warm and cozy and we could really feel the love from all of our guests.
One thing we wrote into our ceremony was us taking a picture of our guests from our point of view. We saw this done at another wedding and really liked the idea. Tall Guy took a panoramic shot of all the guests and it turned out really well!
Tall Guy and I wrote our own vows which was a major tear jerker for both of us and our guests. After the ceremony, almost everyone told us how emotional and beautiful they thought our ceremony was. One person even said they'd never cried at a wedding in their entire life but did at ours. I'm really glad we were able to write our entire ceremony and wrote our own vows.
We also had Tall Guy's dad and my Grandma each do a reading that we had chosen. Tall Guy's Dad read What is Love and my Grandma read The Apache Wedding Prayer.
Then, it was time for the rings! The ceremony flew by and I tried to take in as much as I could so I could remember it forever.
We're married!
We walked out to Uncle Kracker's Smile and of course were all giddy with love and excitement!
Next up: cocktail hour and speeches

Oh, so lovely! We also wrote our own vows which made everyone cry, us included. And we had someone read the Apache wedding prayer during our ceremony, too. Looks like yours was just perfect!
